It is a non-governmental, international alliance with a common interest in the promotion of higher education sport and physical activity. The Wiener Sport-Club (WSC) was founded on the 24th of February as Wiener Cyklisten Club in 1883. In the following years a lot of other sports were implemented into the club. Now the club consist of eight sections: Fencing, Water polo, Cycling, Swimming, Squash, Athletics (Running), Ice-Hockey, Football


The University of Cyprus participates in Digi-Sporting through the Software Engineering and Internet Technologies (SEIT) Laboratory, an integral part of the Department of Computer Science. SEIT focuses its research activities on two important areas of Information Technology, namely Software Engineering and Internet Technologies. The Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), founded in 1914 and member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), is the National Governing Body for Sport responsible for sports development and management in Italy. According to the power conferred by its Statutes, Coni is an umbrella organization reuniting 45 national sport federations, 19 associated disciplines, 15 organizations for sports promotion and 19 further cultural associations active in the sports field. An overall number of 95,000 sport clubs fall under CONI’s jurisdiction, counting up to 4.7 million members
